After presenting to the class and getting some of their feedback on my project I started thinkin about the issue of who would take care of this board when I leave and what would happen if profanity was written on it, who would wash it away?
Well I was thinking that I could build this piece and display it somewhere here on campus and who would take care of it?
Possible idea was that it could be a piece for Sculpture situations, so any time the class is taught then those kids would have to keep up with the up keep of the piece.
Then I thought a lot about what people were saying in class,
I believe that if there was something like this up on campus people would respect it enough not to write profanities on it and if there was someone who did that then I think as a group or better yet "community" the kids of the school would do something to cover it up.
I think that it would be a good asset to the school in remembering people and it may even help keep graffiti off the school walls.
